Worm Composting

Worm composting is a great way to turn kitchen waste into high-quality soil amendment or vermicast especially where space is limited. Red worms can decompose organic matter without the additional human physical effort that a rotating composter or compost bin requires. It is also a great educational tool for kids. They love the red wigglers and it helps explain the importance of composting to them and how important it is to reduce the waste flow to landfills.
